meah i cant be bothered
oh why do i bother i sigh to myself. This has been happening a lot of late. I am currently not sleeping all well of late and i feel as though that everything is so hard to do. I know that i am being bitchy here but i tend to get like this from lack of sleep. This is going to be short but sweet as i cant function my brain from my sleeping problem.
Although if you do have any helpful advice on my sleeping problems please do drop me a line plese and the best answer will get a goodie bag and i big hug from me.

Hi again
Well you could try a few things. Don’t eat too late, ideally not after about 7. Get out for a walk for a run or a cycle in the evenings too. Run before eating or walk after eating. Drink a pint of water after dinner too. Herbal teas like Camomile or other green teas help. Lavender droplets on the pillow helps some people. You can get those in the chemist. I sometimes use herbal tablets like Kalms which have Valerian in them. They are non prescription and help make you sleepy. Don’t drink anything with caffeine after mid-day. Drink a couple of litres of water each day in small amounts. That helps to clear toxins and helps with digestion. Bad digestion can interfere with sleep
But the most important thing is to get a pattern going. Try to go to bed at the same time for five/six nights in a row every week and get up at the same time, even if you don’t have to be up early. Your body works best when you establish habits for eating, exercise and sleep.
Hope that helps!
I think a long relaxing bath before bedtime and a well chosen book work a treat!
thanks you all for the helpful advice and i will be trying your tips all very soon and i will let you know how i get on.
Try taking a strong anti hystamine like Phenergan (which is over the counter in Australia – not sure about Ireland) which knocks most people out. Valarian is also good (and probably not as intense) although I find my body builds up an immunity to it far too quickly.
